Environics Poll: NDP 44.8, BCL 25.4, CON 19.8

The BC Federation of Labour sponsored a poll conducted by Environics. They surveyed 854 people between August 29 to August 31st and asked a series of questions about the strike, and then asked about voting intentions. The only link I have to the survey is a news story (link).

The survey has the following result:

If a B.C. provincial election were held tomorrow, which one of the following parties would you vote for in your constituency? (Factoring in leaners. Factoring out non-voters and totally undecided)

BC Liberals by Christy Clark 25.4 %
BC New Democrats (NDP) led by Adrian Dix 44.8 %
BC Conservatives led by John Cummins 19.8 %
BC Greens led by Jane Sterk 7.8 %
Other 2.2 %

Without knowing the undecideds and non-voters, one doesn’t know the “real” working sample, but take this survey for what it is worth, it is roughly consistent with other polling done.

The polling dates are before the current infighting in the BC Conservatives made any major headlines

Yeah, this one was overtaken by events, I was just extremely late in posting it.

I Just dont understand these People to when it comes to voting. I Do hope
that when Adrian Dix if he does intend to get Elected as the Premier in
May as of Next YR I do hope that hes got a lot of Smart Sense in his
fat skull to bring in Mandatory Legislation where there can be more people
to get up off their asses and vote. I Do however want to see an NDP Government get elected but theres got to be more Discipline in Our Party
before long. And one other thing is to see that if the NDP Do get Elected with
a Majority as of May 14th Next Year then there better be an NDP Government
that is not going to pull anymore bags over its own heads as to what did go
on when they did do enough of that under Mike Harcourt. But heres the score
Card for May 14th as of Next Year. BC NDP 85 BC LIBERALS 0.
    Thank you
