Forum Research – NDP 45, BCL 23, CON 20, GRN 10

I am not sure why this slipped my radar, but Forum Research conducted a poll (their link) on August 30, 2012 of 902 surveyed (857 decided or leaning). The results on voter intention were the following:

BC NDP – 45%
BC Liberals – 23%
BC Conservatives – 20%
BC Greens – 10%
Other/Independent – 2%

The percentages are roughly consistent with prior surveys, including those from other firms.

Forum Research does include their own seat split projection which is:

BC NDP – 68
BC Liberal – 12
BC Conservative – 3
BC Green – 0
Other – 2

But let it be known that I disagree with their translation methodology of popular vote to seat count, so take this component with a grain of salt.

The date of the survey is also slightly before the internal issues concerning the BC Conservative party hit the media, so the results do not bake in any public sentiment backlash, if any, that would have occurred from this.

Oh I nearly missed this! (good thing I read your blog below the fold!). Thanks for sticking the Greens in your headline. Every little bit counts!
