Mustel Poll – September 2012

The Mustel Group very discretely released some information on a quarterly tracking poll that they do. This was initially brought to my attention to BJ in a comment and also Bernard von Schulmann‘s post on the matter (link here). I figured I should explicitly post about it to get it in the record:

This shows the following:
BC NDP – 45%
BC Liberals – 32%
BC Conservatives – 18%
BC Greens – 4%
Other – 1%

Without data such as the sample numbers, when the poll was conducted, etc., I am not going to include this into the formal dataset. Typically Mustel’s tracking polls have involved between 500-600 people and are done over an interval of a couple weeks.

In my experience, Mustel is actually a Liberal polling company. To me that means there is bias towards the BC Liberals. That means the NDP is actually farther ahead.
