The 42nd Annual Business & Finance Irish Business Awards in association with KPMG took place on Thursday, December 15th at The Convention Centre Dublin. President of Ireland Michael D.Higgins was honoured with the Inaugural TK Whitaker Award for Outstanding Contribution to Public Life, Sir Bob Geldof received the Outstanding Contribution to Ireland Award. The module will be assessed by two individual assignments; the first of around 800 words (20% weighting) will be submitted around the mid-point of the module and the second of around 2,900 words (80% weighting) will be submitted at the end of the module. The first assignment will allow formative feedback on student writing style and the final assignment will test students’ ability to research a given company, analyse the data and present a written report with conclusions drawn from the analysis.
The university has established an electronic thesis deposit system to facilitate public access to theses produced by students, especially from individuals in the academic world, with the aim that others may comment on them and they may provide opportunities for further research. All research students are required to deposit their theses, normally through the university’s intranet.
