Many, if not all, of these superb business, communications and finance books should be included in any academic setting that is committed to providing students with the most effective and practical training for succeeding in the business world. At the same time, the high standards for including any book on my list also requires that 100 percent of them can be immediately helpful to anyone already involved in any stage of running a company. A career in human resources can open up a world of opportunities across all industries. In fact, when it comes to job outlooks, the Australian Government expects employment for human resource professionals to grow very strongly in the next five years.
This module provides an opportunity for students to extend their understanding of macroeconomics. It emphasises the role of macroeconomics as an applied discipline, focusing on issues facing the world’s economies featured in the Financial Times. By the end students are expected to be able to use the techniques learned to interpret changing macroeconomic aggregates, events and policies.
